JBT Group of Companies is seeking a 310T Licensed Mechanic to join our team located in Ayr, ON. This is for a weekend shift covering Friday, Saturday and Sunday 12 hour shifts.
Position Summary: Responsible for the service, repair, and safety of JBT/Heritage truck and trailers.
Responsibilities:
- Repair and maintain all JBT/Heritage trucks, trailer.Inspect equipment and report all defects
- Document repairs on work orders and complete inspections sheets as required
- Ensure all parts are marked in on a daily basis
- Ability to safety all equipment
- Communicate with operations and supervisory staff on availability of equipment
- Prioritize jobs and work safely on all equipment
- Follow shop procedures and company policies relating to use of shop and Occupational Health & Safety regulations
- Ensure adequate housekeeping for a safe work environment
- All other duties as required
- Understand vehicle reports and use computer systems.

Qualifications:
- Certified Class 310T Mechanic license or registered training agreement
- Must have own tools in good working order
- Valid Class G driver’s license required
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Must Have:
- Must have own transportation and able to commute to Kitchener, ON
