What You’ll Do

• Ensure that all general ledger investment-related activities are completely and accurately recorded, analyzed, and reported on a timely basis, and assets are adequately safeguarded.
• Develop, coordinate, and prepare monthly management reports ensuring completeness and consistency with respect to the various inputs to the process.
• Perform detailed research and analysis on climate related reporting. Take a lead role in the coordination and preparation of related reporting and data gathering, ensuring appropriate disclosure requirements and recommendations are met.
• Prepare written, graphical, and quantitative analysis including all financial statements and management reporting to support the investment portfolio.
• Performs investment analysis to highlight any financial anomalies or trends that are positive or negative and actively proactively to address any issues that arise.
• Research new and emerging valuation issues, methodologies, and techniques to stay abreast of valuation considerations. Prepare discussion and research papers to support valuation processes and policies.
• Conduct research to determine the impact of new accounting pronouncements and implementing the appropriate changes required.
• Conduct annual reviews of the policies and guidelines and recommend changes as appropriate in relation to changes in the business environment, responding to various types of risk considerations and modifications to more efficient and effective business processes.
• Provide leadership and guidance to other junior staff within the Finance department.
