We are adding to our team in the capacity of Shipper / Receiver in our Campbell River location.

Key Responsibilities:

The Shipper / Receiver responsibilities will include but are not limited to;

Shipping: Picking & preparing customer items for pickup or shipping. Calling customers when items are ready for pick up. Operating forklift/pallet jack to move items within building or lot, as well as loading customer or courier vehicles.

Receiving: Receiving & verifying all shipments into warehouse. Putting stock away in proper locations. Performing cycle counts & inventory control. General warehouse maintenance including general cleaning and tasks as assigned.

Other duties may include assisting with our yearly inventory, assisting at other branches in times of vacation relief, and assisting the parts counter in times of overflow. Other tasks and duties may be assigned.

Skill Set:

• Exceptional Customer Service Skills – we go the extra mile every day!
• Solid hand/eye coordination. Ability to view orders & accurately pick customer orders.
• Skilled multi-tasker, able to manage multiple priorities at once.
• Can change focus based on business needs - our business is very fast paced!
• Solid understanding of both truck & trailer fundamentals
• Strong knowledge of all makes, parts & accessories
• Excellent organizational & prioritization skills
• A team player – excellent communication skills, both written & verbal.

Requirements:

• 2+ years in a shipping/receiving role
• Valid Class 5 or 7 driver's licence with a clean drivers abstract.
• Previous experience in a HD parts environment as asset.
• Previous dealership experience considered an asset
• Experience with Daimler considered an asset
