Overview:

Commissionaires Great Lakes offers an immediate opportunity for a versatile, highly motivated Security Professional. We are looking for an individual with excellent interpersonal and verbal communications skills, strong working knowledge of computer systems, CCTV experience, a positive attitude and the ability to provide excellent customer service, security and protection for our clients site. As a front line representative of our company and clients site you must be highly reliable, work well under pressure, able to work with minimal supervision, have the ability to multi task and be a professional who takes pride in your dress, deportment and performance at all times.

Job Profile:

The commissionaire will report to and work with the Site Supervisor and Area Manager. He/she will utilize the post orders to provide superior customer service, security and protection to their client and the client’s property/assets.

Job Description:

• 
  Conduct security patrols in military barracks checking for any and all maintenance issues.
• Assist with In and Out processing of military members in checking out of the barracks and that all items are returned and restocked to military specifications
• Act as Fire Wardens for the buildings you are assigned to
• Ensure all barrack rooms are "move in" ready and have supplies that they need all rooms.
• Must be able to work a two-way Radio
• Complete "March Out" and other site paperwork as directed
• Work with the Site Supervisor and 2IC to complete any task that is needed to be completed on the site.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Must have a valid Ontario Security Guard License

Emergency First Aid with CPR or Standard First Aid with CPR

Must be able to walk up and down at least 3 flights of stairs without issues and remain stand for long periods of time

Must be able to multi-task and work well without little to no supervision

Must have a valid Level I (Reliability Clearance) to start and must obtain a Level II and a DND404 (Military Drivers License) as soon as possible

Must have good customer service skills and follow directions with very little supervision
