We are seeking a highly motivated Science and Math Teacher to join Unionville College who will be responsible for guiding your students in their explorations and investigations of the Ontario curriculum at an advanced level. You will be expected to pique interest, foster curiosity, and motivate your students into becoming passionate learners who have the ability to think critically about the world around them. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a strong background in both science and math subjects. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, creating a positive learning environment and supporting student success.

Responsibilities:

· Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the school’s advanced curriculum standards and the Ontario curriculum

· Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports the needs of all students by utilizing a variety of instructional methods and resources to facilitate student learning

· Assess student progress regularly and provide feedback to students and parents

· Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay up-to-date with current educational trends and best practices.

· Collaborate with other teachers and school administration to develop and implement school-wide initiatives
