Immucor Canada has an immediate opening at its Dartmouth, Nova Scotia facility, for a Quality Compliance Assistant. This position performs a variety of tasks and duties to support compliance of the Quality Management System with applicable regulations and quality standards.

Qualifications:

  • minimum high-school education; a background in science would be considered an asset.
  • demonstrates above-average thoroughness and attention to detail.
  • communicates effectively and works well independantly and in a team environment.
  • possesses a strong work ethic.
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (office, excel, word, powerpoint).
  • experience with Quality Systems is preferred.

Duties include:

  • Responsible for Document Control activities, such as proofing, filing, copying, scanning, archiving, retrieval and maintenance of all controlled documents and records required by applicable regulations.
  • Responsible for off-site Record Control activities, including storage, retrieval and archiving.
  • Assists with preparation and reporting of quality metrics for document control and the CAPA system, as required.
  • Responsible for participation in worldwide compliance program to ensure the quality system is in conformance to company policies and applicable regulations (e. g. FDA regulations, Canadian Medical Devices Regulations, and In Vitro Diagnostics Device Regulations and others).
  • Interacts cooperatively with coworkers at all levels and in all departments and receives direction well.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $35,000.00-$38,000.00 per year
