We are currently looking to hire an experienced Pharmacy Assistant or Pharmacy Technician with split hours between our two locations: Guardian Pharmacy @ St Mary’s and Keswick Compounding Pharmacy. This position offer great hours with competitive wage and benefits where you will be working in a team environment providing excellent patient care.
Job description
Collect patient information and inputting prescriptions received from prescribers/transferring pharmacies.
Preparing prescriptions (vials, compliance packaging, daily dispensed medications)
Understanding and detailing third party insurance claims
Organizing and filing prescription hard copies, invoices
Being responsible for maintaining adequate inventory counts
Communicating with customers and directing them to the pharmacist when appropriate
Etc.
Experience:
- Pharmacy: A minimum of 1 year experience OR having completed a certified pharmacy course. Anyone not meeting these criteria will not be contacted.
Job Types: Part-time, Full-time
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Weekend availability
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Fredericton, NB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
