Summary of Position

We are currently seeking a motivated and professional team player for a Level II (or equivalent) Dental Assistant position in our Orthodontic clinic.

The ideal candidate has a strong clinical background or is seeking to improve existing clinical skills in orthodontics. Leadership ability is a must. We seek an individual with excellent interpersonal communication skills, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to prioritize and multi-task in a busy but enjoyable patient-centered practice. The right candidate should be able to build relationships with patients, work well with others. While we value experience in the orthodontic field, we are prepared to teach the necessary skills to the right candidate.

This position requires excellent communication, strong organizational and time management skills, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities vary but may include the following:

Taking picture records

Taking pan and ceph radiographs

Taking Itero scans

Bonding aligner attachments

Bonding and removing appliances

Providing patient education and instructions

Requirements

Fluent in French and English

Able to work independently and as a cooperative team member

Commitment to promoting disease prevention and patient education

Handle patients with professionalism and sensitivity

Education/Experience:

Orthodontic experience is highly valued

Required experience: 1 – 2 years of clinical experience

Experience with Dolphin Management software a plus
