We are looking for an enthusiastic and business savvy individual to represent Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) as an Independent Operator of multi-site Gas Bar/Restaurant locations across Western Canada.

In this role, you will oversee the operations of these locations while employing and managing your own team of people.

Who you are:

You are a hands-on individual who is committed to service and has the required leadership skills to manage a successful gas bar & restaurant business. This will be achieved by having a strong business acumen, drive for results and the ability to develop and train exceptional staff.

What you’ll bring to the business:

• An unequalled commitment to safety and adhering to government policies and regulations.
• Familiarity with gas bar, fuel management, and food service practices, and retail store management experience.
• An ability to manage your own team at one or more locations and demonstrate a passion for training, mentoring, and developing staff to high standards.
• Experience in inventory control, planograms, and merchandising.
• A strong commitment to providing excellent customer service with a focus on exceeding customers expectations.
• A willingness to be an active member of the community where your business operates.
• Proficiency in English.

Your earnings potential will depend on several factors:

• Size and volume of site or multi site portfolio.
• Convenience store sales.
• Your business knowledge including interpreting and understanding financial statements, monitoring margins, and price management.
• Restaurant and car wash revenue.
• Your performance and customer service skills.

Your investment will be in:

• Convenience store inventory.
• Working capital with a minimum investment of $100k which will vary based on the factors above, and a letter of credit.
