We are currently looking for a Community Support Worker to assist our male client with development delay in all activities of daily living.
Our client enjoys going to the library, going out for walks and riding the bus.
Location:
- Powell River
Shifts and Hours:
- Tuesday to Saturday: 5 hours per day
Compensation
- $28 per hour
Responsibilities (but may not be limited to):
- Engage with the client and access the community
- Personal care required while out in the community
- Client enjoys events such as craft fairs, hockey games, going out for walks, shopping, and going to the library
- Client is a wheelchair user and may require assistance with mobility
- Seizure management
- Medication administration
Required Qualifications:
- Community Support Worker experience is an asset
- Behavioral intervention experience is an asset
- Current First Aide and CPR certification are required
- Must be double vaccinated
