ARTECO Home Improvements Group is currently looking to fill 3 openings for full time carpenters sub-contractors to take on our large scale projects across the GTA, Hamilton, Kitchener, Guelph, London/Waterloo areas and more.

The succesfull sub-contractor will posses the knowledge and experience as well as all tools and equipment required, to succesfully complete various carpentry related jobs. Have the ability to communicate with our project managers, construction consultants, site supervisors, and clients, Read and follow architectural drawings, price out and deliver estimates based on drawings and specs to our estimating department and more. Finally the succesful candidates must posses a vehicle in good working condition both mechanically and visually.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

- Have a registered business with HST number

- WSIB certificate

- All tools and equipment

- A crew of at least 2-5

- Overall experience of more that 10 years as a carpenter

- Van or Truck in good condition mechanically and visibly.

- Poses the ability to read arhitectural drawings

- Proficient using email and sending pdf files and more.

- Follow ARTECO's safety regulations and protocols.

- Follow ARTECO's Proffesional Guidelines and comply with our internal regulations and procedures.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

- Install wood or steal stud framming

- Install Metal doors, door casing, double doors, and all associated hardware.

- Build decks according to drawings and specifications following all appropriate building quotes.

- Install drywall

- Build sheds, barns, sunrooms, pergolas, and other structures.

- Ability to read and follow architectural drawings and have the ability to provide pricing.

- Willing and capable of driving and wokring around the GTA and further out. As west as Hamilton Area, as north as Barrie/Simcoe as east as Oshawa area.
