Art Assistant Job at VISUAL ARTIST
Seeking an Art Assistant or Art Graduate Student that has a good understanding of the world of visual arts, who is very organized and has excellent knowledge of using a professional camera, editing photos etc.
Tasks & Responsabilities:
-taking photos of all the works of art, along with any required photo editing or cropping.
-cretaing a catalog/inventory of all works of art.
-tagging all works of art in an organzied numeric system along with names and details of each work of art.
-wrapping works of art with bubble/paper etc as required for trasnportation & shipping.
-assisting artist in the studio to mix, wash, organize paints/mediums etc.
Seeking a self motivated and hard working person who will have the opportunity to learn a lot about the art world. Previous gallery or archive experience is a bonus!
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Casual, Freelance, Seasonal
Salary: From $18.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

- North York, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
