Paradise Dock & Lift specializes in manufacturing high-quality hydraulic boat lifts and dock products that are distributed through a dealer network across North America. We are looking for a Yard Foreman to assist with our manufacturing processes.
PAY STRUCTURE: $25-$30 depending on experience.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for training and supervising yard personnel.
- Manage and focus on all shipping related matters.
- Ensuring yard housekeeping is in acceptable condition.
- Loading and unloading trucks on a regular basis.
- Packaging and maintaining inventory.
- Responsible for ensuring yard and shipping efficiency is maintained.
- Hold weekly meetings with yard staff.
- Promote safety, quality, and efficiency in all activities.
- All other related duties and special projects as required.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2+ years of supervisory experience.
- Extensive forklift experience. Ticket required.
- Mechanically inclined.
- Shipping experience is a strong asset.
- Ability to multi-task and problem solve efficiently.
- Communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
- Able to work outside and indoors.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and punctual.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
