Experienced Wildland Fire Fighters
We are looking for Experienced on-call availability for wildland fire fighters. Don't let this fire season pass you by, Your community needs help with wildfires.
We are accepting applications for *seasonal* on call Wildland Fire Fighters* (July 2023 - Oct 2023). Applicants must be able to work remotely for 2-week rotations and able to travel to the USA for 14 to 21 day rotations.
Applicants must be physically fit, pass a basic physical fitness test, and attend training to be eligible for a position on one of our crews.
*Required Certifications: You Must have *ALL of these by June 30, 2023, to be deployed.
- S-100 Basic Fire Suppression and Safety or S10A/S100A re-cert
- S-185 Fire Entrapment Avoidance
- Valid class 5 B.C. Driver’s License
- OFA 1
- Transportation Endorsement (TE)
Preference given to applicants that have experience and hold any of the following certificates:
- Crew Leader
- Strike Team Leader
- Danger Tree Accessor
- OFA 3
- Power Saw Operator
- Danger Tree Assessor (DTA)
