TDB Consultants Inc. in Prince George, BC is hiring! The Weigh Scaler is an entry-level position responsible for delivering accurate weigh scaling and log quality data to TDB’s clients in a fast paced, high volume environment.
Don't have any related experience? Not a worry! We hire the right attitude over aptitude and provide training for certification, no experience necessary.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Weigh and Scale Inbound/Outbound Logging Trucks
- Obtain and Enter Accurate Data
- Tag Logging Truck Loads
- Adhere to Sample/Stratification Plans
- Use Ministry Approved Software
- Ensure the Scales and Other Equipment are Operating Properly
- Maintain and Clean Scale Sites and Infrastructure
- Monitor the Safety of the Worksite
- Contribute to a Team Environment Focused on Safety, Quality, And Production
WHAT DO YOU REQUIRE?
- Computer Literacy; Proficiency in Microsoft Office (MS Word, MS Excel, etc.)
- Knowledge of the Forest Industry and/ or Scale Systems is an asset
- An Aptitude for Numbers; Attention to Detail; Ability to Work Calmly Under Pressure; Self-Motivated
- Good Verbal and Written Communications
- A Weighmaster Licence*
- A Valid B.C. Driver’s Licence
- Ability and Willingness to Travel
- Ability and Willingness to Work Shifts
