Summary of Position:

The DEKRA Tire Program Sales Representative will work with BMW Canada within an assigned territory for the purpose of improving the BMW Tire program. This is a sales/business development role that will place primary emphasis on a candidate’s ability to sell the BMW tire program, meet sales & productivity goals, penetrate accounts and implement selling process in dealerships.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Sales/Business Development
  • Deliver the BMW Tire program
  • Meet sales and productivity goals
  • Present financial Tire Opportunity to Dealership management
  • Develop account strategies to increase revenues
  • Account Management
  • Use Consultative Transformational Selling process to penetrate accounts
  • Administer appropriate planning to deliver high impact business plans to decision makers
  • Make significant contacts and presentations to decision makers to insure dealership alignment with BMW Tire program
  • Identifying competitive threats, trends, and issues
  • Develop and maintain consistent monthly contact schedule with dealers
  • Keeping accurate and timely internal records of key contacts and field activity
  • Marketing/Promotion
  • Present/Implement Selling Process in each Dealership
  • Maintain knowledge of current industry trends and share it with dealers
  • Assist dealers in marketing and promoting tire sales through the BMW Program
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of pricing lists, retail selling guides, special promotion materials, etc.
  • Providing tire merchandising market support to dealers
  • Other Requirements:
  • Meet field activity objectives
  • Prepare and present Quarterly Operations Review
  • Submit timely contact reports, forecasts, itineraries, and expense reports as required
  • Maintain contacts with appropriate departments in order to insure maximum success
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities with Role Expectations:

  • Competencies Required:
  • Must be fluent in French-Canadian language (English as second language preferred)
  • Tire Shop Management experience a big plus
  • Results Orientation - Agility/Initiative/Influence
  • Customer Focus (retail and dealer)
  • Understand and Decipher various data streams
  • Impart Knowledge to Drive Behavioral Change at client locations
  • Set and Reach Objectives

Physical Demands:

  • Extensive driving to customer accounts
  • Sitting for long periods of time
  • Talking on the telephone for long periods of time
  • Responding to multiple emails daily in a timely and effective manner
  • Individual and group training at dealer locations to exhibit effective selling processes

Required Travel:

  • To clients/customers within an assigned territory.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $50,000.00 per year

Benefits:

  • Paid time off

  • Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

  • Bonus pay
