We are currently looking for a Temporary Personal Support Worker to assist our female client with all activities of daily living.
Coverage Period:
- 3-month contract
Location:
- Vancouver (near Champlain Heights Community Centre )
Shifts and Hours:
- Saturday and Sunday: 10:30 PM to 6 AM
Compensation:
- $21 per hour
Responsibilities will include (but may not be limited to):
- Personal Care including bathing, washroom care, catheter and ventilator care, suctioning, dressing, and feeding
- Medication administration and nebulizer
- Assist client with transfers using a sling
- Reposition overnight
Required Qualifications:
- Caregiving experience is required
- Some experience with complex equipment (ventilator, diaphragmatic paper, power wheelchair)
- Fully vaccinated
- Comfortable working in an environment with a pet cat
