Job Description

We are seeking a Technical Sales Representative. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing customer needs and recommending products and solutions. You will possess a specialized product knowledge. You will deliver presentations and product demonstrations to customers. You will have a continuing role in customer support to address customer issues in the usage of the products.

Responsibilities

  • On-site and virtual calls to end users and consultants to convince them of desirability of automation, process control and electrical products or services offered.
  • Makes sales contacts, research customer needs and provides product and application information; demonstrating technology solutions for customers.
  • Gathers, analyzes and shares technical information and solutions to customers.
  • Participate in joint sales calls with manufacturer representatives.
  • Participates in ongoing training to maintain technical competency in product and complimentary product areas.
  • Understands market conditions and competitive forces.
  • Use and maintain CRM system to support customer relationship management and new business development.

Qualifications

  • Technical Diploma or Degree in electrical, mechanical or automation preferred.
  • Technical Sales experience preferred.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills preferred.
  • Knowledge of mining processes and other industries based in Northern Ontario preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $75,000.00-$150,000.00 per year
