STRUCTURAL DETAILER AND ASSIST PROJECT MANAGER ( ENGINEERING ASSIST)
Summit Steel Fabricators Inc, an established Structural Steel and Miscellaneous Metals supplier for the past 15 years from the Moncton area., is seeking a motivated individual for Miscellaneous Metals detailing, purchasing materials, control inventory, provide technical support for shop fabrication and field staff. This position reports to the Senior Project Manager/Engineer for Steel projects.
· Must have technical degree with minimum 2 years experience in our industry or in a equivalent construction environment.
· Can independently understand structural, misc metals and architectural dwgs.
· Good abilities with CAD or similar software
· Take site measurements for drafting and coordination with clients/staff
· Well organized, good communication skills
· Can work in a fast pace environment, a go getter and good planner
· Assist Senior Project Manager/Engineer in project management tasks
· Good relationships with staff, suppliers and customers
