Job Description_
So, what will your new role look like?_
We are looking for a team manager for our software development department to lead a product features team for Officevibe. The team manager must coordinate operations while helping team members map their career development. This job is all about people. The team manager will be required to implement change management, conduct performance assessments, hire new talent and find new ways to improve collaboration. You will:

  • Tackle business challenges and ensure that the team is ready to take on those challenges. Implement the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and ensure that the team uses their time and energy accordingly.
  • Address the strategic and human needs of the team. Regularly ensure that the tactics chosen meet strategic objectives and business needs.
  • Develop and align the delivery ecosystem. Help improve processes by collaborating with other managers and practice leaders.
  • Analyze current processes, determine bottlenecks, and actively contribute to continuous improvement.
  • Manage day-to-day operations. Manage the team budget and requests accordingly.
  • Ensure optimal team performance by addressing conflicts and proactively managing change.
  • Help team members improve their performance and encourage them to develop their skills. Recognize the strengths and accomplishments of each team member and provide constructive feedback.
  • Support team members' individual development by promoting learning and sharing knowledge and skills.
  • Be an ambassador for GSoft culture and values. Lead by example and adopt behaviours that embody our values.
  • Communicate, communicate, communicate. Take change management seriously and ensure that all decisions are met with a mutual understanding.

What does your future team look like?
You will be responsible for a team of five developers who collaborate with the product team to deliver ShareGate Reporting product features while meeting the technology department's quality and performance standards.
Beyond your leadership and impact on the team, you will be part of a leadership team of approximately fifteen people who share the same challenges and collaboratively contribute to the success of the department's goals.

  • Expert in modern development practices: You have extensive knowledge and are fluent in modern development approaches: Manifeste Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Design Thinking, Lean and Jobs To Be Done.
