This position is 100% remote, based out of our Quebec offices.

SUMMARY:

The Service-oriented Architecture (SOA) Developer Analyst will design and develop integration services with available tools while respecting established standards.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Performs all work inherent to the analysis, development, testing and implementation of new integration solutions and modification of existing integrations.
• In collaboration with the functional analysts, defines and clarifies the needs of users, competency center teams and technology teams and participates in the development of solutions.
• Ensures the quality of the data integration, documentation, and user guides and respects the methodology as well as the development norms and current standards.
• Develops and supports high performance, robust and scalable integrations that meet the needs of the company.
• Adheres to functional and technical rules as well as design and delivery standards.
• Performs all unit and functional testing to deliver reliable technology solutions.
• Works closely with other areas of Information Systems.
• Performs production support (follow-up and customer support) according to a pre-established schedule (day, evening, night and holiday).
• Maintains up to date technical knowledge, specifically in relation to ESB Java and web services.
• Performs all other related tasks.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or relevant field.
• Minimum 5-7 years' experience in an ESB/ETL analyst/developer role.
• Experience with data exchange platform development projects.
• Knowledge of SAP PO, NIFI platform or any other ESB (Wso2, Mule, IBM ESB, ...).
• Knowledge of the following platforms is an asset: MQ, DB2, SVN, SAP, Kafka, Graylog.
• Knowledge of JAVA is an asset.
• Knowledge of retail and/or logistics is an asset.
• English/French Bilingualism (oral and written) is an asset.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• The incumbent may be required to travel occasionally between different Metro sites (Laval, Montreal, Varennes, Ontario).
