Liard Hot Springs Lodge is a central stop on the Alaska Highway between Fort Nelson, BC and Watson Lake, YK surrounded by incredible northern scenery and right across the highway is the second largest natural hot springs in Canada, at the provincial park.

We're looking for a Front Desk / Server to work at our Restaurant. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills and test well on customer service as well as problem solving. Responsibilities are to greet customers upon arrival, to help with their inquiries. We're looking for individuals who are client-centric and see our customers as people who need to be assisted above all else.

Responsibilities:

• Welcome guests to the hotel, RV, or Restaurant
• Answer phone calls.
• Greet guests with a smile on arrival.
• Direct guests to where they are staying.
• Take food orders and serve guests
• Keep area clean and tidy

Minimum Qualification Requirements:
Mature individual of professional presentation with combination of related training, strong work ethic, positive team attitude and highly motivated with the ability to work independently

Minimum of 6 months experience working in a similar remote capacity

Must be able to communicate sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically and professionally always with managers, staff and guests.

Able to work under pressure and perform task switching capabilities

Highly flexible, with strong interpersonal skills that support working effectively in a diverse workplace

Physical fitness: be able to reach, bend, and frequently lift 25 pounds, and be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time

Excellent organization skills and strong attention to detail

Additional duties assigned by management.

Working Conditions:
Live and work on-site, with other employees, in remote location with limited services

Travel will be provided from Fort Nelson to Liard Hotsprings Lodge for shift rotation of 2 weeks.

Repetitive and strenuous work

Facility operates with diesel generator power, artesian well water service, septic tank system
