We are looking for a Senior Assistant to join our team and provide administrative support to our executive staff. The successful candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Responsibilities include scheduling meetings, managing calendars, preparing reports, and providing general administrative support. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and have a strong customer service focus.
· Must be between the ages of 15-30 years old due to funding requirements by the Government of Canada for “Canada Summer Jobs” program.
· Must be a student in a full-time program sometime during this 2023 year due to program funding requirements. High School students, university, college & trades programs are all eligible & encouraged to apply.
· be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act for the duration of the employment**
· have a valid Social Insurance Number at the start of employment and be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to senior staff.
- Organize and maintain files and records.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and other documents as needed.
- Maintain calendars and coordinate meetings and events.
- Answer phones, take messages, and respond to inquiries.
- Perform data entry and other clerical tasks as needed.
- Assist with special projects as needed.

Salary: From $15.00 per hour
