GGFL has a dynamic, first class, Tax Group and we are looking to expand. We specialise in Owner-Managed and privately-owned businesses. We practice tax and estate planning to ensure our clients benefit from all tax opportunities available to them, while being in compliance with the relevant income tax statutes.

Our goal is to find another member to join our team who is looking to further develop their tax knowledge, experience and career. This position would support the successful candidate in continuing their overall professional development, including the In-Depth Tax Program.

Join our team:

We are currently seeking an experienced* Senior Staff Accountant to join our Tax & Advisory Services Team*. In this growing role you will become an integral member of the tax team working closely with our Managers and Partners. You will be involved with drafting corporate reorganization memos and related tax elections, preparing or reviewing corporate, personal, trust and partnership tax returns, tax and estate planning, researching tax issues and providing support and training to the Assurance team. You will have the opportunity to further develop your tax knowledge and expertise by registering in the CPA Canada In-Depth Program at a time that is agreed upon by both the individual and the tax group. This role has great potential for advancement to a management position for the right candidate.

The ideal candidate will have their CPA Ontario designation, a minimum of 2 years of full time tax experience in public accounting with experience in reorganizations, estate planning and tax research.

Salary: $72,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
