This position will support designing, delivering, and commissioning projects to the customers and will be responsible for providing mechanical and instrumentation engineering and design of plant equipment and related facilities. As the Sr. Project Engineer, you are the lead person on your projects working directly with the customer and internal teams to ensure successful execution from Sales handover to Project closure. As the Sr. Project Engineer you are also in a leadership position developing and checking the with work of other staff. This is a very fluid role with the opportunity to be involved in the full scope of the projects as well as all levels of communication.

Typical Day:

• BOM
• Continuous Improvement
• Cross Functional team meetings
• Documentation for customer
• Scheduling
• Budgeting
• Commissioning
• Sourcing vendors
• Providing leadership and guidance

This candidate will be working through the PO, working with design team (can take anywhere from 1-9 months), ordering parts and equipment, help with the build and installation and commissioning. Working with Piping and Instrumentation Drawings (P&ID) and drafting team. This position requires travel to sites and vendors.

Must-haves:

• 5 years of experience
• Public Tendering
• OEM or engineering consulting experience in North America
• BOM
• Vendor communication and sourcing

Nice-to-haves:

• P. Eng of Ontario or eligible to get license
• Understanding of water and wastewater treatment
