About the role


Reporting to the VP IT & Enterprise Applications, the Senior Business Analyst – Procure to Pay is responsible for project management and business analysis of improvement initiatives for supply chain management from vendor setup and prequalification, and requisition through vendor payment. The incumbent gathers business requirements, challenges the status quo, and works with the Enterprise Applications (EA) team to ensure digital solutions can be designed, developed and implemented. The incumbent manages the full life of project improvement initiatives, including change management activities, and follows IT / EA and improvement initiative principles, acting as the go-between for IT / EA and the business.


As a Business Analyst, Procure to Pay
at Graham you will:


  • Collaborate with the business to understand and document business requirements.
  • Collaborate with the EA team to explain the business requirements so a solution can be determined and developed.
  • Manage full life cycle of project improvement initiatives.
  • Deliver bi-weekly updates on initiatives.
  • Manage issues related to improvement initiatives and escalate as necessary.
  • Coordinate end-user acceptance testing of improvement initiatives.
  • Execute change-management plans.
  • Perform close-out of initiatives to ensure business value is achieved.
  • Follow standards and processes for implementation of improvement initiatives.
  • Develop project and change management plans for improvement initiatives.
  • Comply with privacy legislation and maintain confidentiality when handling confidential and/or sensitive data.
  • Coordinate business requirements with IT responsibilities, including acting as a primary contact or go-between for the IT department and the business.
  • Understand business requirements, set reasonable expectations, and communicate these requirements to the IT team.
  • Listen to and manage user requirements and concerns.


Qualifications/Experience


  • Degree in Business or a related field.
  • PMI and IIBA certification are assets.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a Business Analyst role or related.
  • Experience with Lean Six-Sigma process improvement preferred.
  • Experience working within a mid-to-large company.
  • Experience with SAP MM processes and tools (including Fiori based apps)
  • Experience with material procurement activities within a project/construction environment
  • Experience translating business requirements into workable solutions.
  • Experience working in project management and under a PMO structure.
  • Ability to build strong business relationships, active listening skills, and empathy for client issues.
  • Proficiency using MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to ensure all privacy legislation requirements are followed.
