What You’ll Be Doing:

• Perform all aspects of general accounting functions, including Accounts Payable/Receivable, Payroll, P&L, Balance Sheet

• Conduct bank reconciliations per location

• Implement cost-saving initiatives

• Prepare monthly government remittances, including HST, and payroll

• Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date filing systems related to all accounting functions

• Effectively manage in-store inventory and cash control, ensuring adherence to all operations policies and procedures

• Ensure all projects and processes, including inventory control and supplies, are accurate and delivered on time

Who We Are Looking For:

• Five plus years of Canadian accounting experience, with an emphasis on Accounts Payable/Receivable and Payroll

• Excellent oral English communication and exceptional interpersonal skills when dealing with staff and vendors
  

• Solid knowledge of internal accounting systems (i.e., Excel, QuickBooks)

• Strong time management and organizational skills to maintain accurate filing systems

• Driven self-starter with a track record of achieving goals beyond expectations

• Must be able to visit locations across the GTA
