Job description
The Senior Accountant will be responsible and accountable for all aspects of our in house accounting.
Role Responsibilities:
- Preparing and analyzing financial reports
- Preparing revenue projections and forecasting expenditures
- Preparing and monitoring budgets
- Preparing and reconciling balance sheet and general ledger
- Ensuring all payables and receivables are up to date
- Resolving payment discrepancies and disputes on behalf of the company
- Aiding in and preparing tax returns
- Performing audits and investigating and reporting on any findings/discrepancies
- Contributing to the ongoing development of accounting systems, programs and procedures
- Leading fellow AP/AR team members as assigned
Qualifications/Skills/Job Requirements:
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in a similar role
- Analytical
- CMA or CPA designation is a plus
- Strong Attention to Detail
- Must have a very thorough understanding of Quickbooks
- Team player who can also work independently
- Willing to help other team members when needed
- Intermediate proficiency with MS Office programs
Salary: Based on experience
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $75,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
