iGuard360 is currently hiring security professionals for several properties in the Chilliwack area. The Guard will be responsible for maintaining the safety and security of the property, company assets, employees, and customers while working in the best interests of the brand. The Guard will act in a safety and security focused role while also serving as a visible deterrent to unwanted behavior and people.

What you will do:

• Maintain a safe and secure environment by way of customer service and physical presence.
• Identify and respond to suspicious activity in a professional manner.
• Prevent criminality within the property by maintaining surveillance of the site and its high-risk areas.
• Provide access control as required.
• Conduct regular foot patrols as required.
• Enforce the Trespass Act, Criminal Code of Canada, and other relevant legislation as it pertains to the property in your Province.
• Respond to alarms, patrolling the site and securing premises as required by site post orders.
• Complete detailed and comprehensive incident reports through our online reporting systems.
• Maintain high standards of personal appearance and deportment.

Education / Experience:

• Previous industry experience is an asset
• Additional industry-related training (e.g., Advanced Security Training, OFA Level 1 or 2) considered an asset, but not required
• Completion of or enrollment in a Police Foundations, Law & Security Administration, or other relevant program is an asset, but not required

Special Certifications needed:

• Valid Security Guard License in your Province
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle is an asset

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
