Work Hours:

Full time: Monday to Friday from 8:15 AM to 4:45 PM

Part time: Flexible Hours and Days

Annual Paid Vacation for Fulltime Teachers: 3 weeks, 3 sick days, 2 personal days (during the school year)

Additional Paid Summer Vacation: 6 weeks (during the summer)

Annual Salary Range: 40,000 – 42,000 plus benefits

Job Description:

We are searching for a reliable and enthusiastic teachers to join our school team for our 2023-2024 School Academic Year. The teacher will be providing a well-balanced education at a high academic level to our students, according to our La Citadelle values in an environment that will help and encourage each student to develop to his or her full potential.

To be successful as a teacher, you should demonstrate patience, passion, and excellent teaching skills.

Qualifications and Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

• Legally entitled to work in Canada
• Relevant University qualifications
• Experience working with studentsfrom different backgrounds in an educational setting
• Proven ability to communicate in a professional manner with children, parents, staff and the general public
• Proven ability to follow organizational policies and procedures in an appropriate and timely manner
• Strong organization and time management skills
• An interest and desire in being a part of an innovative co-curricular experience for Primary/Junior students
• Technological acumen and experience utilizing hardware essentials (Smart boards, Epson, laptop, tablets and handheld devices) and software essentials in a classroom environment
• Proof of a clear Vulnerable Sector Screening Report will be required before beginning teaching as well as a current Standard CPR/First Aid Level C certificate
