Ricoh is currently looking for career-oriented individual to assist in the document prepping process include opening, sorting, and logging documents according to work types and client specifications as well any other tasks required to prepare documents for scanning process like removing staples or other document bindings and un-folding or repairing damaged documents.
Responsibilities:
- Operating OPEX or Kodak imaging equipment to create digital images
- Equipment maintenance and/or troubleshooting equipment when necessary and maintain optimal machine performance
- Adjust settings to achieve best quality output, performing quality check of images during scanning process
- Once digitizing process has been completed like re-stapling of documents, removing barcode sheets, fold, insertion back into envelope or preparing documents for confidential shredding as per client's requirements.
- Address client communications around work in progress.
- Ensure the scanning quality is as expected and correcting all identified quality issues. Maintain a record of completed work, confidentiality and security of client information and meet deadlines by working at a quick and steady pace while maintaining quality/error free work.
- Processing rush requests to pull client's documents for return to client,
- Receiving/Shipping process,
- Labelling of boxes/Moving boxes
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience operating OPEX is preferred but not required.
- Basic Computer skills
Skills& Abilities:
- Follow instructions and communicate effectively with supervisor or trainer when appropriate to ensure customer expectations are met.
- Must be able to work in a team environment by maintaining positive, productive relationships with co-workers, management, sales, and production departments.
- Ability to stay on task with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable with operating/troubleshooting equipment (Tech Savvy)
- Must be able to work in a production facility by adapting to moderate medium to high noise levels.
- Ability to work independently in a team environment.
- Must be able to adapt to changing situations and be flexible.
- Must have good eye to hand coordination speed and accuracy.
- Must be able to perform repetitive work by continuously executing different tasks according to set procedures, sequence or pace while maintaining quality and output standards.
- Ability to organize tasks and resources to complete work and meet deadlines according to established departmental procedures.
- Ability to identify different document types.
- Detail-oriented and accurate
- Able to maintain an organized workstation.
