Reporting to the Housekeeping Supervisor, the Guest Services Leader is part of the housekeeping team and works in collaboration with the other members of the Camp department. The Guest Service Leader assists the Housekeeping Supervisor in ensuring the good practices of the team in terms of being responsible of the laundry operations, cleaning and inspecting the rooms and areas such as lobby, corridors and offices as well as playing an important role in the planning. The incumbent ensures the goals and objectives are achieved, with respect of the Agnico Eagle’s culture, Health and Safety Code of Conduct and environment.

• Participate, with the supervisor, in planning the daily work of Guest Room Attendants, Laundry Attendants and Janitors on day- to day basis;
• Check and ensure that all rooms, commons areas, corridors and offices are clean and well maintained;
• Check all team members for proper personal protective equipment (PPE) according to procedure;
• Be available to counsel, motivate and guide employees on various duties;
• Assign designated keys, radios and maintain accurate record of such and ensure security of keys.
• Provide feedback on team member’s performance to Housekeeping Supervisor;
• Perform Guest Room Attendant, Janitor and Laundry tasks when needed;
• Be responsible for Camp linen (bundles), check its movement and distribution to Guest Room Attendants;
• Is responsible of guests’ daily check-ins and check-outs.
• Responds to guests’ issues, requests and complaints and take necessary actions to resolve problems with Supervisor’s support if needed;
• Manage key inventory and key assignment for inbound and outbound travelers;
• Ensure efficient communication with guests related to ground transportation;
• Replace Guest Services Supervisor when needed;
• Participate and execute department related inspections including H&S inspections;
• Act as a role model to ensure the best practices our service towards our guest and the team.

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Housekeeping or similar role;
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written);
• Excellent interpersonal skills to ensure professionalism at all-time;
• Excellent knowledge of the the technology usage for telephone and computer;
  • Microsoft Suite: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet, FLO;
• Can work alone with a minimum of supervision;
• Act with leadership and proactivity;
• Strong organizational skills and comfortable in a multitasking environment;
• Experience working in a multicultural environment;
• Able to work under pressure and efficiently manage stressful situations;
• Ability to work in a team;
• Strong ability to effectively communicate in English (oral and written).
