Sales Representative Job at PEO Canada
PEO Canada is working on behalf of our client, a leader in pipeline construction equipment, to hire a Parts Sales Representative for their Acheson facility. The successful candidate will have the ability to build strong working relationships with customers, vendors and other departments within the company.
Key Responsibilities:
· Provide parts quotes to internal and external customers via telephone, email or fax as well as assist product support staff and account manager with inquires.
· Look up parts using supplier catalogs.
· Email invoices and obtain purchase orders from customers as required.
· Responsible for crediting parts returns.
· Responsible for warehouse procedures and organization.
· Responsible for maintaining parts inventory levels.
· Keep detailed shipping/receiving logs to account for all parts that enter and leave the facility.
· Search for used parts using parts locator systems.
· Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, including loading and unloading trucks using a forklift.
Successful applicants must have excellent organizational skills and the ability to effectively handle a high volume of paperwork. Other qualifications required are:
· Parts Journeyman/Red Seal Certificate.
· PC literacy and experience with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Power Point and Excel).
· Strong verbal and written communication skills.
· Problem solver and customer service driven.
· Minimum of 1 year of forklift operating experience.
· Experience with Caterpillar software programs is an asset.
