JOB SUMMARY:

We are currently accepting resumes for a Sales Representative in the Terrace Region of our BC operations.

Start Date: As Soon As Possible

Nature & Scope of Position

This position is responsible for handling customer requests and a variety of sales duties in order to support the sales growth in this region. This individual is tasked with but not limited customer qualification, generation of new business, face to face customer interactions, customer maintenance, responding and engaging with customers via various technology modes, customer onboarding, spot quotes and various other sales related functions. This individual will interact with customers and respond to all inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner. The Sales Representative will work in conjunction with the rest of the sales team locally and in other branches to improve efficiencies.

This position will report to the Director of Sales.

Skills & Experience

  • Minimum two years of sales experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft suite with a higher degree of expertise in excel is required
  • Transportation and or Logistics experience preferred, but not required
  • Prior experience with Sales Force CRM is an asset
  • Strong interpersonal skills and desire to work as a team
  • Proficient reading, writing and speaking English
  • Demonstrate a passion for excellent customer service with a constant business development mindset
  • Strong computer and presentation skills
  • Highly organized and able to multi-task in a fast paced environment (VERY self motivated)
  • Expected to travel regularly within region, flexible to plan around your schedule

Remuneration

  • Salary will be based on skills and experience; and
  • Complete Group Health plan & RRSP plan
  • (Relocation assistance will not be provided for this position)
