Director of Sales

Do you have a proven history of sourcing and developing new sales opportunities? Do you have an established record of preserving and growing existing client relationships? Do you have strong analytical skills? Can you lead a team to meet or exceed sales goals and objectives? Are you focused on providing stellar customer service? Then IFR Workwear is interested in you for our Director of Sales.

Position function:

This position is responsible for the oversight and implementation of operations, planning, and growth strategies for IFR’s sales department.

Organization Summary:

IFR Workwear manufactures and distributes fire resistant work wear including coveralls, parkas, insulated workwear, fleece wear, and hard hat liners.

Functions & Responsibilities:

· As part of the Senior Management team, assist with the development of strategic plans, sales forecasts, and key performance indicators

· Annual planning to include forecasting, budgets, growth projections, marketing support and travel

· Set annual goals and ensure that sales department staff receive required training

· Oversee the sales department in the implementation of plans to meet goals and objectives

· Provide accurate and timely sales reporting to the CEO and Management team

· Ensure that the sales department staff meet client needs and IFR objectives

· Develop and maintain customer relationships – quotes, complaint resolution, product guidance

Requirements:

· Proven ability to source and secure new sales opportunities

· Experience developing and managing department budgets

· Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities

· Excellent organizational and time management skills

· Experience working with an ERP System

· A degree in business or equivalent

· Minimum 7-10 years of experience in Sales

· Minimum 5 years in a senior sales position

· Advanced computer and Excel skills
