Sales Consultant - Professional Markets

As a Sales Consultant, you will be accountable for the discovery, development and implementation of photo, video, large format printers and emerging technologies into markets typically not serviced by existing retail channels. You will be responsible for cultivating new business opportunities with a focus on system integrators and displaying Canon's broad and diverse range of products and solutions.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop partnerships with audio-visual system integrators
- Research market verticals, programs and methodologies to sell products into identified markets
- Cultivate relationships with customers and discover customer needs
- Develop creative programs (marketing, finance, etc) to support the customer needs specific to the market vertical
- Develop lists of potential customers
- Close business with new and existing customers
To Succeed, You Will Need
- Completed post-secondary eduction (college or university)
- Minimum of 3 years experience in business development with system integrators
- Strong interpersonal skills, excellent communicator, high energy individual, proactive and creative thinker
- Self-starter, able to adapt to new work environments quickly, perform well under very tight deadlines
- Results oriented with a demonstrated track record of identifying & securing new business opportunities
- Well developed research and strategic analysis skills
- Passion for cutting edge technology and a technical aptitude
- Exceptional presentation skills, strong communicator - ability to "cold call"

- This position offers a Virtual work schedule. You will be 100% remote and not required to report to the office unless there is a specific business need (work schedules and office reporting requirements may change from time to time based on business needs)
