POSITION: REGISTERED NURSE – Inpatient Unit

Primary Site: Seaforth

Full-time

Weekends Only– Friday to Sunday - unless Monday is a Statutory Holiday (days/nights)

REPORTS TO: Manager, Inpatient Unit and ER - Seaforth

DATE REQUIRED: As soon as possible

SALARY: $34.24 to $49.02 per hour

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Current registered member in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario

EXPERIENCE:

- Recent clinical experience (minimum 2 years) in the areas of:

 Medicine/Palliative Care Nursing

 Pre/Post-Surgical Nursing

 Recent/related educational programs

SKILLS/ABILITIES:

- BLS

- ACLS

- Specialized skills in Medical/Surgical Nursing

- Ability to plan, organize and problem solve

- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development

- Ability to work independently and as a team member, with excellent communication skills

- Working knowledge of Meditech Information System and personal computer application
