FILL is a refill store to help reduce plastic in the environment. Customers come and fill their cleaning and hygiene products with local and Canadian products. To date FILL customers have saved over 270,000 plastics from entering the environment. Our customers are amazing and super excited for an opportunity to reduce plastic and make our world a greener place!
Schedule
This position is for Saturday and Sunday shifts and 1-2 weekday shifts.
Shifts are 9:15- 5:15 and 10-6.
Job description
Eco Warrior Sales Clerk will assist customers in reducing plastic in our community through choosing products appropriate for customer wishes. EWSC will complete sales and tasks to ensure proper functioning of FILL- Vernon’s Refill Store.
- Assist customer’s in selection of appropriate products for customer needs. Do not up-sell the customer a price point he/she/they are not comfortable with. Base product selection on customer needs/desires: price point or ingredients or local or customer favourites or Canadian made.
- Assist customers in estimating price point prior to filling container
- Sanitize, weigh, fill and reweigh customer containers. Enter products and weights into point of sale system. Accept payment.
- Receive inventory and stock inventory in a first-in first-out method
- Stock shelves and containers.
- Enter inventory into point of sale system.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and thank them for making our world a greener place.
- Open and close point of sale system.
- Ensure cleanliness of store and containers, including floors.
- Ensure storage room is clean and tidy
- Carry out any other related task at the request of his or her supervisor.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Salary: $17.00-$17.01 per hour
Day range:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Experience:
