Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to

The Restoration Technician position can include (but is not limited to) restoration activities including demolition, cleaning, emergency flood service, restorative drying, fire and smoke damage cleaning and deodorization, content cleaning, pack out and storage and other specialized cleaning both on site and in the warehouse.

• Demonstrate courtesy, cleanliness and professionalism when representing the company
• The ability to follow scope of work, policies, and procedures.
• Responsible for maintaining clean and safe job sites
• Involved in the emergency tear out process such as demolition, removing wet or damaged materials such as flooring, drywall, cabinets, Packing and moving contents, etc..
• Meeting deadlines for all phases as per the job specifications
• Updating the Project Manager regarding job progress and any changes in details of the project as required
• Customer Service Duties including problem resolution and compassion for those affected by disaster
• Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in construction.
• Responsible for taking asbestos samples and following asbestos protocols before work is performed
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours work (i.e. occasional evenings and weekends)
• Ensure attention to detail and keen sense of safeguarding other people’s property and information

Skills/ Competencies Required:

• Comprehensive understanding of customer service, principles and practices
• The ability to use and maintain all relevant tools and equipment
• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
• Ability to handle stressful situations
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs
• Willing to work evenings, on call and weekends when required

Tickets include :

Water Damage Restoration Technician certification (WRT)

Fire and Smoke Restoration Technician certification (FSRT)

Odor Control Technician certification (OCT)

Certification in mold remediation

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $22.00-$30.00 per hour

Licence/Certification:

• Class 5 Licence (required)
