Our Reservations Agents are responsible for answering calls/inquiries for guests looking to make reservations. They will reserve rooms and activities for guests and ensure property information about room types, location, deposits / resort cancellation policies, packages, golf, dining and resort activities. are communicated properly.
KEY SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
• Respond to all incoming reservation phone calls, emails and online chat.
• Resort, room types, food and beverage options, packages and golf tee times are communicated properly and accurately
• Reservations are made using a desktop computer; Maestro PMS. GENlive Tee Times
• Upsell guests with available resort enhancements such as golf, food & beverage offers.
• Be ready to assist on the Front Desk when required
• Complete daily and monthly reporting as required (MS Excel)
• Self- motivating, well organized with attention to detail
• Ability to multi task and prioritize work environment
• Ability to work under pressure
• High regard for Health and Safety for self and others
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE (Education, Experience, Knowledge & Skills)
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Sales experience an asset, but not necessary.
• Excellent desktop computer/software knowledge (Use of Computer, split screens, reservation software, chat software, internet, all Microsoft Programs)
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
• In a shared office space sitting for long periods and operating a phone and computer.
• Office can be noisy with some distractions.
• Must be able to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to sit for long periods.
