Requirements & Skills:
  • Familiarity and experience with Qualtrics Surveying software (creating surveys; collating and storing data; etc.).
  • Familiarity with UofR Research Ethics process and application (e.g., Converis).
  • Flexibility and ability to work on several ongoing projects at once
  • Experience working with people with mental health challenges
  • Experience in developing or editing audiovisual materials
  • Proficiency in Excel and Word
  • Experience with online forms of data gathering (e.g., crowdsourcing websites such as Amazon’s Mechanical Turk and/or Prolific).
  • Highly developed organizational skills are essential
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently is a must
  • Experience with data analysis software, such as SPSS and R/R, would be an asset
Position Requirements
Research Coordinator Duties:
  • Prepare, organize, and complete financial documentation and research project budgetary reports
  • Complete monthly financial reports using online systems
  • Preparing ethics applications using Converis system.
  • Checking participant eligibility for ongoing studies
  • Agenda creation and note-taking
  • Communicate with participants with mental health challenges using several mediums (online; phone; in-person).
  • Working closely with the primary investigator and other research assistants to ensure adherence to study protocols
  • Communicate with participants and manage participant research compensation
  • Clean and score SPSS datasets
  • Training other lab personnel
Physical Demands Pay Grade As Per CUPE 5791 Research Salary Range $20.75/Hour (including vacation pay) Status Casual Work Hours
