Purchasing Clerk Job at Atlantic Windows
Primary Responsibilities of the postion are:
· Purchasing, Receiving and Cycle Counts of raw materials
· Ensuring availability of inventory while minimizing overall costs
· System and SKU maintenance – pricing, part numbers and box quantities
· Assist in year-end inventory reconciliation
· Pricing analyses
· Forecasting the consumption of raw materials
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:
ü Superior communication and interpersonal skills; Able to foster relationships to create value for internal and external customers.
ü Strong attention to detail; organizational, problem solving and analytical skills
ü Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
ü Proficient with MS office and other software
ü Time management skills: Thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple responsibilities and enjoy working with a variety of individuals
ü Self-starter; able to work independently
ü Team player; able to participate and positively contribute in cross-functional teams.
ü Knowledge and experience in the window and door industry would be considered a strong asset.
ü Willingness to accept new challenges.
