With our continuing growth, our state-of-the art at 401-8340 Fraser Reach Court, Burnaby has an opening for a Production Supervisor.

Responsibilities Include:

· Manage the co-ordination of production flow to ensure maximum productivity

· Supervise, coach, manage and mentor new and existing production workers

· Support senior management in achieving production goals

· Learn, implement and adapt to new production methods and procedures

· Review, manage and adjust production to meet customers’ varying needs

· Coordinate the proper loading/unloading of incoming/outgoing trucks to ensure optimal on-time performance

· Maintain daily production records and produce regular production reports

· Operate highly automated PLC driven equipment

· Communicate with customers via telephone and e-mail

· Adhere to and enforce all OH&S guidelines and policies

· Report to and assist Production Managers with other production-related duties

The Successful Candidate should have/be:

· At least 1-2 years of supervisory experience in a production/manufacturing environment

· Experience in an industrial laundry facility a definite asset

· Strong work ethic and leadership skills

· Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced production environment

· Ability to train, coach and supervise a large number of staff

· Good communication and interpersonal skills

· Self-motivated and possess a high degree of initiative and sense of urgency

· Willingness and a genuine desire to learn

· Flexible to work throughout the week including weekends

· Good understanding of computer systems

· Physically fit able to lift and move heavy objects

· Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills

· Flexible and adaptable in reacting to customer requests

· Basic knowledge of computer applications including: Outlook, Excel, and Word

· Strong organizational skills
