Job Description


Reporting to the Manager of Merchandising Operations, Techo-Bloc Inc. is seeking a Production Planner for its head office in St-Hubert. The Production Planner will be responsible for forecasting future supply and production needs for the Marketing Department.

In your role, your main responsibilities will be to:

  • Organize, plan and validate all production orders with the merchandising team;

  • Explain all variances from standard production order costs and make improvements;

  • Check production order logs for discrepancies and irregularities;

  • Monitor production deadlines, crew schedules and costs;

  • Manage quantity, cost and inventory movements;

  • Ensures that the quality standards of the department are improved and maintained;

  • Forecast demand for all marketing and merchandising materials by site;

  • Create merchandising replenishment strategies (using MRP) for our various hubs and sites;

  • Ensure that the items created are properly identified with the correct variant and dimensions;

  • Create bill of materials (BOM) and production material requests;

  • Maintain effective and collaborative working relationships between teams.


Qualifications

  • University degree in GOP, Logistics, or other relevant field ;

  • A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role;

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment will be considered a strong asset;

  • Able to communicate well in English and French (knowledge of English is required in order to respond to customers and suppliers based in the United States and outside Quebec);

  • Experience with ERP systems (an asset), and be very comfortable with technological tools;

  • Excellent organizational and priority management skills;

  • Excellent skills with the Microsoft Office suite (Excel).
