· Barrie SW/ Essa (Angus, Borden, Thornton)

· Barrie NE/ Oro-Medonte (Horseshoe Valley, Shanty Bay)

· Barrie NW/ Springwater (Midhurst, Minesing,)

· Barrie SE/ Stroud

S.M.A.R.T. Tutoring was Built by Teachers for Teachers. This is an ideal position for you if you are currently working on a Bachelor’s Degree in Education or if you are already qualified to teach in one or more of the following:

· Primary/ Junior Divisions

· Intermediate Mathematics

· Intermediate English

· Intermediate Science

· Senior Mathematics (Functions, Calculus, Data Management)

· Senior English

· Senior Science (Chemistry, Physics, Biology)

S.M.A.R.T. Tutors Teach on Their Own Terms. S.M.A.R.T. Tutors are matched with students based on their teaching qualifications, location, and availability. Tutors work with the same families on a weekly basis and make their own schedules to fit their needs (3-20 hours per week). S.M.A.R.T. Tutors accept student contracts and submit monthly documentation via email.

S.M.A.R.T. Tutors Work Individually, and are Backed by a Team. Tutors work on outlined objectives with their students on a 1:1 basis, and draw from our shared resources, student resources, and their own teaching materials. S.M.A.R.T. Tutors collaborate with each other in an online group. They focus their efforts on student progress and rely on the S.M.A.R.T. Tutoring Administration team to handle the rest.

Applicants must be able to tutor a minimum of three (3) hours per week, and be available until the end of the 2022/2023 school year (June, 2023). Knowledge of the Ontario Curriculum and OCT Certification is preferred.
