Salary: 65$/hour - $70/hour + $ 10,000-$15,000 signing bonus + other great perks!

We are looking for a qualified Pharmacist to fill a fantastic full-time permanent Staff Pharmacist role at our client’s pharmacy. The start date for this position is as soon as possible. This role comes with excellent benefits and a great hourly rate of upto $70/hour. You can also expect to receive a $15,000 signing bonus as well as a retention bonus! The ideal candidate will be an experienced Pharmacist, licensed and in good standing with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia. Our client’s pharmacy is a well-known retail pharmacy chain and the location hiring a Staff Pharmacist is in Northeastern British Columbia. As a Pharmacist, your duties may include:
  • Checking prescriptions to ensure proper dosage
  • Dispensing prescribed pharmaceuticals to customers and communicating the dosage amount, adverse effects and other important indications
  • Advising customers on selection and use of non-prescription drugs
  • Entering prescriptions into system software
  • Assist in making blister packs
  • Ordering and maintaining stock of pharmaceutical supplies
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy
  • Licensed Pharmacist, in good standing, with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia
  • Injection Certification is an asset
  • Experience with the pharmacy software is an asset, but not required
  • A minimum of one-year experience in a busy pharmacy setting is considered a strong asset
  • High level of interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Great attention to detail
