Who are we looking for?

We are looking for an experienced, dedicated, and caring Payroll Administration instructor,who is passionate about teaching and adopts a customer-centered approach to working with domestic and international learners. Our future instructors are patient and understanding, and bring a high level of commitment to excellence and integrity in teaching and learning.

Responsibilities:

· Commit to inspiring students’ intellectual potential to develop a passion for lifelong learning

· Support student academic success and learning skill development

  • Deliver the curriculum as per the course syllabus including theoretical and practical training
  • Develop and prepare various teaching methods appropriate for the various course topics
  • Prepare, administer and grade evaluation criteria to assess student progress
  • Ensure and enforce student code of conduct and regulations that must be followed in the classroom
  • Attend meetings with the management to share and receive feedback
  • Maintain accurate attendance and evaluation records

· Actively contribute to curriculum improvement and instructional effectiveness assessment

  • Keep on acquiring and updating knowledge as helping others develop.

· Ability to adapt course content in accordance with student’s interests and future experiences.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or another relevant discipline (Master’s is preferred)
  • 4+ years of industry work experience
  • Previous teaching experience is an asset
  • PCP/CPA certified
  • Certified and in good standing with the Canadian Payroll Association
  • Expertise in QuickBooks, Sage 300, Sage 50, Personal, Business, Corporation Income Tax
  • High level of organization and punctuality
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral
  • A demonstrated dedication to continuous learning
  • Outstanding classroom management and planning skills.
  • A dynamic, vibrant and fun personality, while maintaining highest levels of respect towards others
  • Availability to work with flexible schedules
  • High energy and enthusiasm while delivering classes
  • Confidence in solving problems and providing solutions
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • legally entitled to work in Canada
