Part Time Help at the Golf Course Job at Buncrana golf course
Buncrana golf course is looking for a team member to join our golf course.
The pay is $18/hr (plus tips when serving guests), paid with a cheque bi-weekly.
You must be reliable, punctual, have good communication skills and be a hard worker.
Your duties will include serving on the patio or clubhouse (previous serving experience is a bonus), cleaning the clubhouse and washrooms, bbq-ing burgers & hotdogs and cooking other simple items, watering the plants, and helping around the course during the slow days (weeding, collecting tees, etc.).
You must be 18+ to serve alcohol to guests and possess smart serve. You must be willing to work Friday, Saturday, Sunday. If it is a rainy day, your shift may be cancelled and your other work day may be extended. The hours are 10-630 (or until last guest leaves), with a half an hour lunch (unpaid). If there is a wedding or an event at the course, you will be asked to shift your hours for that day (start later and finish later). This will be discussed in advance.
These are the hours until our high season is over (Mid September?). After that, if you would like, you could work occasional events and occasional weekends. We can discuss in more detail.
There is no public transportation near us, so you must be able to drive to work or have reliable transportation.
