A role you will love

The Outbound Call Center Agent will be a fantastic resource to shareholders by connecting them to unknown assets through the reunification process. What does this really mean to you? This position will ensure adequate research has been undertaken to locate lost shareholders and is accountable for achieving revenue through research activities. The Investor Services Administrator will then engage customers by making outbound calls to locate the lost shareholder and aid them in understanding the process to recover assets they may not even know they have.

This is a great position for work-life balance with weekends off and regular day time hours. Within your first 2 weeks of paid training, you will learn how to be successful connecting shareholders with their assets. This training includes listening to effective calls prior to ever making your first call to the customer.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Initiates outbound phone calls to validate leads
  • Some Inbound calls
  • Build relationships with institutional account holders
  • Proactively conducts analysis and research on shareholder registration information to source viable leads to locate lost shareholders, or their beneficiaries, relatives, or heirs
  • Provide high level assistance in the stock transfer process by offering advice and direction on legal requirements for participation and directions to available support resources
  • Effectively and professionally resolve customer complaints
  • Keep up to date on Client/Program specifics, business strategy changes, and legal updates

Other key skills required for the role include:

  • High School graduation (required)
  • Outbound call center experience (preferred) or hospitality experience in lieu of contact center experience
  • Word processing, spreadsheets, Internet, e-mail, and database software knowledge.
  • Must reside within commuting distance to 100 University Ave. Toronto.
  • High Speed Internet
  • Dedicated personal landline or cell phone for usage during hours of operation
