over 60+ staff members consisting of award-winning Family Physicians, Specialists, Chiropractors, Physiotherapists, Osteopath, Massage Therapists, Psychotherapists, Naturopaths and more. We have a highly efficient and dedicated support staff team, a leading edge EMR and well run operating systems.

We are looking for a candidate to support our patient population for weekend (Saturday to start) coverage.

Job Summary

As a Nurse Practitioner (NP) at Integra Health, you will be supporting patients for after hours/weekend accessibility. This position will be in person but will be offering both in person and virtual appointments. Enjoy a modern facility with excellent administrative support and delivery of comprehensive primary healthcare services. You will have access to Telus PS EMR.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Providing primary care acute services to patients during after hours/weekends
• Provide both virtual and in person care
• Provide pediatric as well as adult primary care
• Ordering diagnostic testing, form completions and prescribing prescriptions as required
• Referrals to other health professionals when required
• Working both in person and from virtual settings
• Provide patient education in referring to additional clinic services
• Performing vaccinations and blood draws

Qualifications and Skills

Master’s degree in nursing from an accredited program

Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario as a Primary Health Care Nurse Practitioner and member in good standing

Excellent health assessment/clinical skills

Must have excellent communication skills and be flexible,adaptable, work well both independently and in a team environment.

Salary: $55/hr

Hours: Saturday 10AM-4PM
